📚 Grades 5-6 – Reading is the foundation for every subject! This course strengthens main idea identification, inference skills, and textual analysis through engaging fiction and nonfiction. We teach active reading strategies that help students process information more efficiently and develop confidence in their reading abilities.

📚 Grades 7-9 – Middle school and early high school students must analyze more complex texts, from novels to historical documents. We break down author’s purpose, tone, argument structure, and deeper meaning, giving students the tools to read critically and effectively—whether for schoolwork or test prep.

📚 High School – High schoolers need to read with precision, patience, and strategy. This course teaches college-level analysis, synthesis of multiple texts, and effective note-taking techniques. Students gain the skills to tackle AP classes, standardized tests, and challenging academic material with confidence.

Middle School – A strong vocabulary is a superpower! We go beyond memorization by teaching students Greek and Latin roots, prefixes, and suffixes, helping them decode unfamiliar words. We also explore connotation vs. denotation to build word awareness and precision, ensuring students express themselves clearly in writing and speech.
 
High School – Want to boost reading comprehension and sharpen writing? This course focuses on high-impact SAT/ACT words, nuanced meanings, and advanced vocabulary usage. Students develop a rich vocabulary naturally, improving both their academic performance and communication skills.

📖 Grades 4-6 – Writing is how we organize thoughts, express ideas, and engage with the world. Using a Sentence Composing Approach, students analyze how great writers construct sentences and apply those techniques in their own work. They’ll master grammar, punctuation, and paragraph structure, all while learning to write with clarity and confidence.

📖 Grades 7-9 – Writing isn’t just about following rules—it’s about finding your voice. This course helps students develop strong thesis statements, organize essays effectively, and refine their sentence structure through a Sentence Composing Approach. We study how professional writers craft sentences and arguments, ensuring students learn to write with impact and style.

🖊️ Grades 4-6 – Let’s spark creativity! Students will write poetry, short stories, and plays, developing storytelling skills, character creation, and descriptive language. Whether they love to write or need a boost of confidence, this course makes writing fun and exciting.
