Service Description
This engaging, authentic 13 week interdisciplinary course pairs Texas history with historical fiction and primary sources. Students examine the forces that shaped Texas through discussion, reading, and research while meeting TEKS standards using Elmer Kelton’s Sons of Texas trilogy. Homeschool transcript friendly! Taught by licensed educator Jen Wentlandt, M. Ed. *Want to include Public Speaking and Rhetoric in the PM? Save 180/week and make it a full day, 10am-2pm, with a break for lunch and socialization.
