This engaging, authentic 13 week interdisciplinary course pairs Texas history with historical fiction and primary sources. Students examine the forces that shaped Texas through discussion, reading, and research while meeting TEKS standards using Elmer Kelton’s Sons of Texas trilogy. Homeschool transcript friendly!
