Cancellation Policy

Catalyst Prep College Essay Coaching Policies Thank you for choosing Catalyst Prep! My goal is to help students discover and communicate their authentic stories while developing stronger writing skills and greater confidence throughout the college admissions process. What's Included Each College Essay Coaching package includes: * One 60-minute individual coaching session * Guided brainstorming and topic selection * Coaching on structure, organization, voice, clarity, flow, and word choice * Two rounds of personalized written feedback on one Common App personal statement (or one essay of comparable length) Scheduling & Cancellations Appointments are scheduled in advance. Please arrive on time and complete any requested preparation beforehand. Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged the full session fee, except in cases of illness or emergency. Essay Reviews Essays should be submitted as Microsoft Word documents or Google Docs with editing permissions enabled. Written feedback is typically returned within **2–3 business days**. Turnaround times may occasionally be longer during peak application season. Additional Support Additional services are available: * 60-minute coaching session: $75 * Additional written review: $50 Unused review rounds expire **90 days** after the initial coaching session. Student Responsibility & Academic Integrity Students are expected to revise thoughtfully between review rounds. My role is to coach, guide, and strengthen each student's writing—not to write essays on a student's behalf. All ideas, experiences, and final writing should represent the student's own work. Feedback focuses on improving organization, clarity, style, and effectiveness while preserving each student's authentic voice. Payment Payment is due at the time of booking unless other arrangements have been made. Questions are always welcome. My goal is to make the college essay process organized, manageable, and even enjoyable while helping every student submit an essay they are proud of.
